Catching up with my life for 2012!
I am currently in my 4th semester which is my second to last semester of school!! woo whooooooo! I currently have 326 days til graduation! According to the countdown on my phone! :) Sooo it's a new year. 2012 is going to be a great year! I am getting married in 186 days!! also according to my phone countdown, I am graduating! Kellan is turning 1, and Lanie will be starting the 3rd grade! I get everything I want this year...so maybe that means I need to get fake boobs, because that is definitely something I have always wanted, haha. Anyways..Colby and I have started working out together. We got a gym membership at Gold's, and I have developed a love/love relationship with Zumba! I am going to start tracking my progress on here instead of facebook because that is just way too public on there. Although this isn't too private either, but it's still not as out there as facebook. I will post all my measurements when we started and all that on another blog with before pictures. I have a dress to get into! Speaking of dress, I got another one! I am over my other dress that I got a few years ago. Too much time has passed and I just needed a new one. I love this one so much more and it is definitely more "me." Colby better love it! Although I know he will love anything I wear when I come walking down the aisle. Christmas was great this year, we had all 3 kids on Christmas morning. Can't ask for much more than that! I really do want to focus on this blog more because it definitely gives me time to sit down and just take it all in for a little bit. It's just hard to do that when facebook is so easy to access. I upload pics on there without even having to get on facebook. I guess I will just use this for more personal things like I mentioned before, like my working out stuff! I don't want to write too much because I could type forever, so this will be it for now because I could talk and talk about everything that is going on. to keep it short..Kellan isn't crawling, probably not even close yet...Lanie is developing an attitude, so I have to take things from her and then she acts right really fast. Noah is getting so big and is finally not whining like he used to over silly, petty things. He realizes he can't get what he wants from us unless he acts right too. Colby is doing great at work. He always gets recognized for his hard work and it all will pay off one day. I am so proud of him. My little brother started college and the U of Memphis, so proud of him too! it's never too late to start college, he is 24....wow..he is 24..that just doesn't sound right. I will be 26 this year. Okay, new subject. Colby is working until 11 tonight so I should be in bed but I can't sleep without him. Our wedding is coming along so great! I have so many things done and can't wait to become Ashley George. Okay this is enough for now. I need to get to bed before Kellan wakes up :) I will continue with other topics at a later day. good night!
long time, no write.
I haven't written in here in FOREVER. I need to catch up. I started this whole thing so I could have my distant family and friends keep up with me and so I could look back and read what I have written after time has passed, and how awesome it is to see writing about Kellan and my pregnancy journey. so bitter sweet because he is becoming such a big boy. I just love him soo much!
I have just finished 3rd semester, the hardest semester of my life! I am still amazed as I see my passing score for Med Surg. I hope that anyone who ever feels like they can't do something can look at me and realize that I am proof that anything is possible. I struggled so bad this semester. It's hard enough being a nursing student, but having a family and a 3 month old starting the hardest semester of your life, was beyond difficult. I haven't slept a full night since Kellan has been born, I crawled out of bed most mornings wanting to cry because of sleep deprivation although I tried to go to bed by 1030 every night. I never made it to class on time unless there was a test, I wrote my 15 page paper in 3 hours, the night before it was due...I studied for every test a couple day before the test and the day before totalling about 8 hours total for each test, which is NOT enough at all but I managed to pass every test but 1.
welllll..I wrote that whole paragraph back in December but apparently got too busy to save it, so I guess I will save it now and start a new blog! p.s. THANK GOD med surg is OVER!
